Athlete Reports

The coaches have been preparing reports for the first part of the season which includes the school holidays and the training sessions up to Sunday 19th July.

Included in the reports will be the skills assessment tasks completed, a log of training activities and attendance and also notes on the athletes progress for the reporting period.

The reports will be emailed and once delivered, we will set a time for a coach parent discussion to discuss the report and the athlete's development.

Victorian Interschool Cancellation and MBRC Club Races Update

Mt Buller and Snow Australia have announced the 2020 Victorian Interschools Snow sports Championships, scheduled to be hosted on the 9 August and 24 - 30 August 2020, will be cancelled.

To read the full report click here.

For training during this period, check the latest  "RTP"  which includes the proposed dates for speed camp and weekend program.

This presents a rare opportunity to schedule a camp during 24 - 27 August 2020 when our athletes are usually competing in the Interschool event for their school.

All of our club races including King Of The Mountain and Karbon Buller Cup have been pushed back into September so there will be plenty of lead in training for all athletes to be able to do their best in all the events.  These race dates can also be found on the RTP.

Snow Australia has announced the 2020-2021 National Alpine Ski Team.

The team, selected based on Snow Australia’s selection criteria, consists of 14 athletes across Alpine and Ski Cross. These athletes, competing on the international stage, are performing to a high international standard measured against their individual age groups and continue to develop in line with their international peers.  To read the full article click here.

We are proud to have two of the selected athletes in the team from our club and congratulate current coach Doug Crawford, selected for ski cross, and past ambassador and MBRC member Katie Parker, selected for the Alpine team. We are very fortunate to have them involved with the club and they join past Australian Alpine team members and current coaches Jessica Haslau, Joe Draxl and past children's team members Georgia Von Einem and Amelia Jones as current coaches.
