2017 MBRC Club Captains - MBRC are pleased to announce that Charlotte Weir and Noah Jones have been selected as the 2017 MBRC Club Captains

2017 MBRC Club Captains

We are pleased to announce that Charlotte Weir and Noah Jones and have been selected by the coaching team as the Athletes to represent the MBRC as its’ club captains. We trust they will both represent the club and its athlete members well, and uphold a strong tradition that the club has had for many years.

Charlotte is a very helpful and focused athlete who always gives 100% in her training. She has empathy with her fellow team mates and is always there to lend a helping hand especially to the younger athletes. A great role model to athletes in training and is dedicated to improving her riding.

Charlotte has been in the club for three years and enjoys BX, free riding the mountain and travelling with her family around the world riding big mountains and powder. You can recognise her by her flowing golden locks and warm inviting smile so feel free to ask her for some advice or speak to her about  some ideas to help improve your training and experience at the club. Maybe one day you will be riding a snow board that she has designed and listening to some music she has produced on the guitar at the same time.

Noah has been at MBRC for 6 years and has been a Full Time athlete for the last four years.  His favourite run is Mens downhill, enjoys Slalom as his favourite discipline and loves travelling with the team to races off mountain.

Favourite skiers are Dave Ryding and Felix Neureuther and amongst his skiing highlights was skiing the Lake Louise WC course and he was ranked 5th as u16 in Australia last year. He has skied all over the world from the USA to Canada and Europe.

Skiing is the “best sport” according to Noah, and he is very dedicated to improving his technique. He also participates in and is also a very competent and competitive rugby player.

You can always find him in the tuning room and is always willing to help others and lend his advice. You can recognise him by his bad hair and birds nest type hair style that is setting trends across the world. Feel free to speak with Noah and as club Captain as he is your go to man for athletes if you need some advise or have some ideas to help improve your training and experience at the club.

Congratulations to the athletes in being elected to this position and we look forward to working with them both over the season.

From the MBRC leadership team.
