MBRC snowboard athletes have just returning back from Hotham. Once more, it has been a great week of training and competing in Snowboardcross. The number of athletes attending for the Futures Camp and SBX events has been outstanding and the level of riding fairly high, which has been great for riders and spectators.
In anticipation of the upcoming season, I would like to take the opportunity to briefly review the past 2014 Southern Hemisphere Season. With an exceptional great snow cover throughout the entire season, the 2014 season provided great excitement to all involved in the management of the club. As main achievements for 2014, I would name the following:

MBRC snowboarders just had a big week of racing. After competing at several different events in Hotham, followed by the King of the Mountain in Buller, we finally enjoy a day of rest and recovery.

Alistair Guss - MBRC President June 2010 - June 2014 - A journey full of passion, commitment and joy!
When I came back to Mt Buller Race Club in June 2010 as a program director, MBRC had 13 coaches and 86 athletes in the program, which meant the program had no long-term sustainability. Under the 3-year leadership and presidency of Alistair Guss, MBRC adjusted programs, strategy and most importantly our club culture. In the 2013 season we had a record number of over 200 program members (including 30 Masters members) and 26 coaches. Read more...
