MBRC Northern Hemisphere Ski Camps 2022/23

MBRC Northern Hemisphere Alpine Ski Camps for the 2022/23 season

Mt Buller Race Club is asking for expressions of interest for the 2022/23 Northern Hemisphere Camps to the the two selected locations of Leogang (Austria) and Winter Park Colorado (United States)

To discuss these camps further and provide further details, we will conduct an information evening for all interested parties on Tuesday 5th July at 4.30pm at the MBRC clubhouse.

Our athletes have a long history of attending camps at these excellent locations and provide a specific focus for athletes on the pathway.

 

U10 - U14 : Development Camp - Winter Park, Colorado.

Flexible training options available from November through to January and over the Easter School holidays in April 2023

  • Dec 9 - Jan 27  (7 weeks)

  • Dec 30 - Jan 27 (4 weeks)

  • Jan 6 - Jan 27 (3 weeks)

  • April 1 - April 23 (3 weeks)

  • April 7 - April 23 (2 weeks)

This camp will be run and operated by MBRC and is aimed at developing athletes who would combine free skiing, technical skills training and gate training whilst having fun.

  • Flights, accommodation and after ski activities would be provided by parents.

U16 - Fis : Performance Camp - Leogang, Austria.

Flexible training options available from November through to April

  • Nov 14 - Dec 4 (3 weeks)

  • Dec 5 - Jan 29 (8 weeks)

  • Jan 30 - April 9 (10 weeks)

This camp would be run by MBRC in a partnership with HPC Racing Austria and Christoph Maier who will deliver the program. Christoph (Stoffl) has a long association with our athletes attending his camps over many years and was a former coach and program director of MBRC.

  • This camp is aimed at the sports focused u16 and Fis athletes that wants to make the next step towards Australian Team Selection and continue on a pathway to Olympics and World Cup.

  • Location Leogang Austria  ski area Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn

  • Focus on Children's (Selected u14, u16) and FIS racing 

  • Accommodation and full board/supervision provided at HPC Athlete House (alternatively athletes stay with their parents)

  • On site physical training facility at the bottom of the training hill (High Performance Centre Leogang) and study area for online education at the HPC Athlete House (Online distance learning education content to be organised by parents/school)

  • Events: Access to regional and international children’s events, central European location for easy access to FIS events
