Qualifying is not head to head.  Athletes will go one at a time for the qualification process.   All categories will compete in heats of 4 during the finals.

Start procedure: Starter will announce "Skiers ready" - "Attention" - then the gate will drop and athletes start.
Finals Format: In all categories the best 8 competitors will proceed into the final runs (semi final, small & big final) - "Knock-out" round. For the final runs competitors will receive coloured bibs at the start (RED for the fastest qualifier, GREEN for 2nd, BLUE for 3rd and YELLOW for 4th fastest qualifier). Bib RED can choose start gate position ahead of bib GREEN, BLUE and YELLOW.

Bibs: All bibs (black qualification bib and coloured finals bib) need to be returned to the start. Finalists keep their qualification bib and put the coloured bib over it for the finals.

Equipment: NO race suits or tight clothing allowed!   Helmet mandatory!  All MBRC athletes must also wear back braces.

FQA's:
Where do I find a start list?

How do I get my bib?
Bibs will be distributed at the Team Captain's meeting each evening at 6.30pm before the event. Coaches can pick up bibs for their team at this meeting which is held at the MBRC Clubhouse.
All bibs which haven't been collected at this meeting, will be ready for collection at the top of the course each morning.
Where do I find a results list?
Results will be posted each day on this website under Race Results.
What is the deal with those age categories?
The international competition categories are based on the Year of Birth of your child, and not on the actual age of the child.
Who is organising this event series?
This event is organised by the Mt Buller Race Club, which is the specialised race training program for alpine skiers and snowboarders at Mt Buller. The Mt Buller Race & Events Department (which is part of Buller Ski Lifts Ltd.) is in charge of event set-up and timing. All other organisational duties are in the hands of MBRC.

Note: Program is subject to changes and will be updated each evening at 7pm on MBRC Facebook and the MBRC website.
